Meet The Mind Behind The Strategist
I am a Sinologist, former diplomat, and strategic analyst specializing in China’s governance logic and administrative structures. For more than three decades, I have worked at the intersection of political analysis, intercultural diplomacy, and executive advisory, helping leaders, institutions, and organizations understand the deeper mechanisms that shape China’s statecraft and long‑term strategic behavior.
As Research Project Manager and Lecturer at the University of St. Gallen and former Executive Director of the University of St. Gallen’s China Competence Center, I develop frameworks that make China’s system logic accessible to decision‑makers. My work builds on extensive academic training in Sinology and Economics, diplomatic service, and years of applied research on China’s dual bureaucracy, systemic governance models, and classical pre‑Qin thinkers.
I am the Co-founder of TAO China Zentrum Schweiz and Founder of the World Association for Sustainable Digital Transformation.
